General Prescription Refills
If you are in need of a prescription refill on a medication supplied by your Orthopaedic Specialists of North County physician, please call your pharmacy and have the prescription number from your bottle ready when you call.
• If the number of refills on your prescription has run out and you need more…
• If you are requesting a new medication…
• If you are changing pharmacies…
…call our office at 760.724.9000.
You will be asked to leave a voice mail message. In the message please include:
• Your first and last name (say and then spell out)
• The medication name (say and then spell out)
• The strength of the medication (example: 25 milligrams)
• The dosage (example: 3 times a day),
• The pharmacy name and phone number
• A phone number where you can be reached
Please plan ahead and allow 24-48 hours for the refill to be called into your pharmacy.
Worker’s Compensation Prescription Refills
If your medication was dispensed from Orthopaedic Specialists of North County, you can also pick-up your refills for that same medication from our office between the hours of 9:00 AM and 4:30 PM Monday through Friday.
Please call the day before you want to pick up the medication. Our office is closed on most holidays and every weekend. Please allow 24 hours for the prescription to be filled.

• Your date of birth (month, day, year)
• The medication name (say and then spell out)
• Your doctor’s name
The medication will be ready for pick-up on the following day between 9:00 AM and 4:30 PM. Remember, if you call on Friday, the medication will be ready on the following Monday.
When you come to the office to pick-up your medication:
• Tell the receptionist you are here to pick-up medication
• Ask to see your doctor’s Medical Assistant
Para Surtir Su Receta Medica Nuevamente
Si su medicina fue obtenida en Orthopaedic Specialists of North County, usted puede obtener mas del mismo medicamento en nuestra oficina. Entre horas de 9:00 AM a 4:30 PM de Lunes a Viernes.
Favor de llamar un dia antes de recojer la medicina. La oficina esta cerrada los dias fiesivos y fines de semana. Permita 24 horas para recojer el medicamento.

Cuando usted deje el mensaje:
Favor de deletrar lo siguiente
• Su nombre y apellido (decir y deletrear lentamente)
• Fecha de nacimiento.
• Nombre de la medicina.
• Nombre de el Doctor.
El medicamento estara listo para que lo recoja al dia siguiente entre 9:00 AM y 4:30 PM. Recuerde, si usted llamo el Viernes, la medicina estara lista el Lunes.
Cuando usted venga a la oficina para recojer la medicina:
• Avisele a la recepcionista que usted viene a recojer la medicina.
• Pida hablar con la asistente de su medico.
